For when the device you need does not exist yet — or it exists, but not the way you actually work.
What this looks like
You describe the thing you keep reaching for and cannot find. I build it as a Max for Live device that runs in your set — an instrument, an effect, or a piece of workflow glue. You get the .amxd and the patch itself, so it stays yours to open and change long after I am done.
When this tends to fit
Best when the problem is specific and repeatable — a routing dance you redo every session, a piece of hardware you want to behave like, a controller mapping nothing supports. Less well when the brief is "something cool".
What this isn't
I build these between my own projects, so I take a few at a time and I will be straight with you about what Max can and cannot do. If your idea really wants a full plugin or a proper DSP specialist, I would rather say so than take the money.
